Friends! This wedding is a treat! Adam & Amanda found us serendipitously and we were so delighted to team up on what turned out to be one of our favorites of all time! They wanted to transform the iconic Sherwood Inn into an intimate affair with their classy, dramatic style. With a quick timeline and some sizable challenges, it was a fun logistics-feat, as well as a blast to design!

On a super-sunny, summery August day in Skaneateles, NY this intimate and gorgeous wedding took place. Lakeside nuptials, a stroll down through town together, a fabulous cocktail hour, followed by memorable toasts and a party to remember. It was quite the date as well, giving honor to the day Adam’s dad died, as well as celebrating the Matron of Honor’s 40th birthday! Sentimental touches make a day uniquely personal and we loved how they boldly wanted to embrace them. We also loved how their style mixed the traditional and the modern, the elegant and the rustic, the bold and the delicate. The touches of lavender, the rose gold and bronze paired with the masculinity of the blues and exposed wood made for a delightful marriage of the elements.

Super dreamy design team of vendors made the day possible: Florals by Fleur de Lis, Specialty Rentals by Hank Parker’s Rental, Vintage Furniture & Flatware: She Rents Vintage; we did the stationery of menus and signage, but table number & favor coasters with rose gold calligraphy by Jen Richmond Calligraphy. Big thanks to Sherwood Inn for collaborating and for this fabulous couple for trusting us to bring their vision to life. Ty & I had a blast working together through the day and getting to witness their memorable wedding day!

May your marriage be filled with the best things about your wedding day: teamwork, lifting each other up and epic belting-classic-rock-dance-parties!

Love Always, LoveWell.

Absolutely beautiful! If you don’t mind me asking, where did the outdoor ceremony take place?
